I love the 450 bushmaster

I ordered this rifle with the expectation of wanting to love it, I was prepared to have to replace the stock, right away, I just knew at that price point, I’d have to do some up grades to get the accuracy I was wanting. So I prepared for a project rifle. The rifle came in and I just loved it, the fluted bolt was the first thing I noticed. The stock is a bit flimsy on the forearm, so I was making planes to upgrade it. Over all I was very pleased, I replaced the factory scope bases with a EGW picatinny base, then I mounted a Monstrum 3X18 on it. I grabbed a box of hornady black and headed out back for some range time. 2 shots at 50 yds and I was ready for 100 yds. The first 3 shot group printed an almost perfect clover leaf, I was stunned! The next 3 groups were all sub MOA. I couldn’t be more happier, I have no plans to change anything on it. I did put a tanker style muzzle break on it, it feels like a .410 shotgun. The trigger had a bit of a rough spot in it, but it smoothed out after a few shots, the action is fairly smooth, I will be purchasing another one for my son, and probably the predator in the 7mm PRC. For the price point, you can’t beat it!
