Rossi USA RS22 Semi-Automatic .22 LR 18 10+1 Fixed Wood Stock Black Aluminum Receiver - Blue/Black, 18" Barrel, 10+1 Rounds, Wood Stock

First I'm gonna say I was very disappointed as this is a plastic stock made to look like wood and not a real wood stock like the description says. However this is a very realistic looking wood pattern.
I took it straight from my FFL to the range and put 200 rounds through it right outta the box with no cleaning or oiling. It had zero failures using Armscor 36gr plated HP.
It uses Mossberg 702/715 plinkster mags, accessories and stocks as the guns are made by the same company(CBC) in Brazil.

Great rifle at an amazing price. I can't say much more about this little semi-auto beauty .22 that hasn't already been said. If you are in the market for this type of thing or even if you aren't, buy one, you won't be disappointed. For me (and a few other, much better shooters that were with me at the range) the only criticism that I can give for the RS22 is the sights. Though they are fiber optic, the rear is just a bit hard to see, especially inside. That said they are easily adjustable and perhaps my feedback is more preference than it is a universal truth, but it is my experience nonetheless. Even with that, I still say go for it. PS...Actually a BIG PS...even though this is billed as a WOOD stock, it is NOT wood. It turns out it is the same plastic stock as other trims/colors but in a "simulated wood grain" finish. For me this only adds to the charm of this fine plinker! One last thought, some quick research yielded a few potential upgrades you can make if you're so inclined, as it is interchangeable with the Mossberg 702 plinkster. Namely these: Folding stock with pistol grip (ProMag PM279) and 25 round magazines (Mossberg 95725). Mine however is destined to remain sporting greatness in its simulated wood grain finish!
