Thanks Buds for the best price and fast shipping. The Wicked Wing Maxus swings and points like no other shotgun I have handled. I installed the cast off/drop shim and the provided spacer for length of pull. I'm 5' 10" 270 lbs and it fits perfect. I thoroughly cleaned and lubed the gun. And then fired 40+ 2 3/4" 1 oz field loads, 1 1/4 oz heavy field loads, 3" steel, 3 1/2" steel and tungsten matrix loads with no malfunctions. With the full choke it patterned 75-87% @ 35 yards with Kent #1 3.5 faststeel. At 45 yards the pattern was still 65% or better. Recoil with 3" and under length shells was very light with very little muzzle rise. The 3.5" shells recoil was a bit more pronounced because of the guns light weight, but not uncomfortable. I would highly recommend Buds and the Wicked Wing Maxus.
