It really was in good shape. It's very accurate, and the action is VERY smooth. The only, slight complaint I have/had, is that it was soaked, or coated with preservation oil. It took forever to clear off.

Great order got to me quickly and without issues with up to date tracking on my order and the gun is in good condition

Was slightly turned off by the price at first, Nagants at this price seem to be a little outrageous but my Izhevsk I received did not disappoint. The rifle is in great condition, a bit of a pain to remove all of the cosmoline but worth it.

Got my 1922 Izhevsk ex-dragoon Mosin Nagant. It is in great condition. Bore is great. All parts are matching, though the stock is post-war. Shot 30 rounds through it, and did not experience any problems. It shot extremely straight. Could not miss at 100 yards. This gun is easy to disassemble. It came with a bayonet, ammo pouches, and tools. I am amazed at how well this gun performed! Thank you Buds!

Got a 1928 Izhevsk. Very nice wood. Overall excellent rifle. All matching numbers. Only shortfall was there was no sling.

Received my first Mosin in 2 days thank you Buds! A 1927 Izhevsk beauty came with bayonet, oil can, two ammo pouches, and cleaning kit - It was missing the sling. Has a pretty good layer of Cosmoline so I will be busy cleaning for weekend projects until I can get to the range. Overall very pleased with purchase. Buds is the gold standard, thank you again.

Great rifle. Stock was standard for a surplus rifle but the rifle its self had excellent bluing and the bore was mirror like with great rifling. All number matching too. Thanks buds!

Excellent Rifle! I received it quickly from Buds, 1932 Izhmazh. It had a lot of cosmoline, I cleaned it all. It shoots very well, I shot it today. Thank you, Buds!

Arrived quickly. Buds Gun Shop always provides fast shipping and are very professional. The M91/30 Mosin arrived covered in grease which was promptly removed For a 1925 model, the bore is excellent (cleaned beautifully), the receiver and barrel still has excellent color, and the wood has a few dings/discolorations. All serial numbers on the bolt, magazine, barrel, and butt plate match. Next, will have to go fire the beast.

Pleasantly surprised! Was expecting a beater, but I received a 1927 hex receiver model with ammo pouches, bayonet, sling, cleaning kit, and a - sadly - uncapped oil bottle. The gun is apparently a re-arsenaled "dragoon" (but I could be wrong). It's slimmer than my 1940 91/30, and the bolt is a little smoother. Came smothered in cosmoline, but there are about a zillion videos on youtube about getting it off. Bore is not terribly dark, and the rifling seems good. I paid a little extra for a VG. There are the usual dents and dings, and one worn place on the stock which may have come from contact with the bolt knob from a sister in the same crate. The workmanship seems better than that on my 1940, and I'm itching to go shoot it. Very happy!
