Once you add the +grip this magazine is perfect for the sub-compact 40

I picked up an extra one of these for my XD. What else can I say about it other than it is a genuine retail magazine made by Springfield. One thing I will add is my recommendation to anyone with a subcompact XD (40 or 9mm) is to add a Pearce Grip extension (see my review for it here on Buds). Adding it to this standard magazine gives added room for your pinky finger. Unless you have smaller hands, your pinky finger falls off and below the grip with the standard magazine, unless you add the Pearce Grip. Like everything else I have bought here, I have to say Bud's has the best prices around! Thanks again Bud's for another great deal! ChrisN-Illinois
