Great gun! Shoots well. Little bit more kick with shorter barrel. Definitely recommend!

Need to custom cut the trigger guard as itis hard to spin and holster very powerful with 357 jhp can shoot 38 special too.so far after 20 rounds had not any lock up or firing pin block come loose issues. a great back up if you're in bear country or any vicious varmint or predator like a cougar wolf or coyotes in a pack.
I can say craftsmanship is just as good as Colt and Ruger,and if you practice draw, poi and and fanning can be a great self defense weapon in a pinch
I give it a 4 due to the finger trigger guard issue

Received this about two weeks ago. It is machined to such close tolerances, that it was very difficult to disassemble for inspection, but, is the tightest single action, I have handled. Have not fired it yet, but am looking forward to seeing it in action. Well made, well finished and balances very well, with a natural point. The only problem,(design), I have found so far is the trigger is set so far forward, that a gloved finger will not fit safely. Having waited over two years to purchase this model, I am very satisfied, so far. Good price, swift, professional processing and communication to keep me abreast of the process.

I've had a love affair with single action revolvers for a long time. After owning several of them in different barrel lengths, I thought that I knew what my favorite was. Now I am sure it is this 3.5" Sheriff's model. I was kinda concerned about the balance and the caliber (.38/.357), as I have had longer .44spl/44-40s in the past. But this little gun feels and looks great! The finish and fit is beautiful as well. I confess that I haven't shot it yet, but I'm sure it'll do well with my .38spl +P loads. I'll have to write a followup about that later. I had a great buying experience with Bud's also. There were no problems and the price was good. I think I may get another one in the future. Excellent experience and fantastic product for the money. I purchased this and another 4.5" version to plink around with cowboy-style and absolutely love it. I wanted .357 specifically to be able to shoot .38spl and burn ammo on the cheap - this Heritage 3.5" did not disappoint. Exceeded expectations and performed perfectly. Highly recommend. Excellent firearm. My gun guy says the lockup is the tightest he has seen. This revolver is well made and a pleasure to hold. I currently have 4 of this style of Traditions and 3 of them are just great. The 4th, the 4.5" barrel, will be sent back to Traditions to fix the crooked front sight. I recommend this revolver as a fine example of the gun maker's art.
