I love this gun. Rugers are great and the weight means no snap.

There is not a better one on the market. I would buy another today.
I installed a red dot scope and use it for varmints to sharpen my skills

First of all, great price and smooth sales transaction through Buds Gun Shop & Salt City Pawn (my local dealer). I finally got a chance to take my brand new Hunter to our gun club for some serious testing. I only experienced one failure to eject while shooting 100 rounds of Walther High Velocity HP Ammo. Not bad at all. Accuracy was great with my older Tasco Propoint mounted on it. every shot within a 2 inch circle at 25 yards freehand.

The Ruger MarkIII Hunter - what a beautiful shooter. This so far has shot everything I've put in the mag: good CCI stuff to the ratty big box unplated stuff. After a break-in of about 500 rounds (not needed it appears), I mounted a Millet red dot and could not be happier - now competitive at 25 yrds. The Hunter barrel saves a couple ounces over the Target model, making the red dot add on about a wash from the other long barrel MK III's. This is not only a great shooter, plinker, varmint hunter, it's a keepsake. Don't listen to all the whining about cleaning, it's not that bad - although I do appreciate the simplicity of my Buckmark even more now. As always, Buds was great and the thing just showed up like expected.

This gun shipped quickly from buds.. The finish on it is very nice and it shoots great. The only bad thing about this gun, is the time it takes to disassemble and clean it. But with practice, it isnt that bad. Great gun for all skill levels.

Having owned Ruger 22 Standards since my 20's it is good to see Ruger making meaningful improvements as they keep churning out these handguns. The Hunter IIi is one of the best I have owned.
I didn't blink an eye at paying the price that Bud's is asking today! This gun is superb in every regard. Love it!
And Bud's is GREAT. I look forward to a life long relationship with them as my premier source for firearms!

I've purchase (3) guns recently from Bud's and have to say there my GO TO when I purchase a firearm.
Great Service and good people to do business with.. I took the new Ruger out to the range and shot 100 rounds.
Not one misfire and all shots were within tight groups at 25'.. Very happy with this pistol and its performance.

I purchased this weapon on a Thursday and it was delivered to my FFL on Monday afternoon. Budsgunshop again has deliverd with great customer service and and awesome product.
The weapon came as promised with two magazines, scope rail, padlock and an internal safety key. Budsgunshop, again, delivered with an excelent price of $470.00. Ruger's MSRP is $670.00. Can't beat the price. Disasembly was a little rough at first but after a couple of disassembly / reassemblys, I have no problem.
Haven't shot it yet but plan to do so with CCI 40 Gr Mini Mags. Will post again after it has been fired.
