Does it really matter if it's MA compliant or not considering in the .45acp caliber it only gets 10rds and it just has a heavier trigger pull?

Ben, the heavier trigger pull is the only concern. If you are not in MA yes, as you can change the trigger pull with a lighter spring and get larger capacity magazines. If you can live with it as is, still a yes.
