Within a couple days after paperwork was completed. Great service.
The gun is well balanced and 45 has not disappointed. My only difficulty is racking. I consider it to be a bit stiff.
But that could just be my arthritis. My son loves plinking around with the 22. Had some initial issues but once I changed to CCI
Stinger all we’re resolved.

Love It! I've been eyeing this combo since my days at a local FFL shop. The witness comes with an earned reputation for flawless function. It's manufactured differently than most semi autos in that the slide fits inside the frame vs over it and the rails run the entire length of the frame vs measured tabs. The fit and finish is unmatched agains anything at this price point. Everything is tight and "monolithic" for lack of a better term. It's a solid metal frame giving the gun a little weight which is a nice change of pace from the polymer world that dominates the modern handgun market. The gun performed as expected right out of the box... flawless. The slides interchange easily and it's nice to have that versatility on demand at the range... in case you need to switch ammo if the kids want to shoot it too... or if you just want to plink a little for fun. I couldn't be happier with this combo set and at the $500 range you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal. This was my first purchase through Buds and it also was flawless. Very pleased... 5 stars for product and service.

Really a nice looking piece, feels good in my hand, easy to change out the uppers too. If I would have know earlier that they made hand guns with interchangeable uppers...I don't think I would have bought all the different guns I have. Only thing I'm missing is only buying the 9mm upper...which is in the works to buy from EAA. Wish they would at least come with 2 magazines of each caliber...but I ended up buying 2 more of each from my FFL. Can't wait to go out this coming weekend to shoot it:) Once again no hassel ordering through Buds, great service, decent prices....only rated it a 4 cuz of the lack of magazines....or you could take someone to the range with you and after shooting one mag...pull the upper off, slap on the other upper and while your shooting your friend can be reloading the spent magazine...lol.

Love the Witness, both 45 and 22 ran lots of rounds with zero issues. This is my second Witness, they are my favorite pistol of all time. Gun arrived with a scratch on the top of the 45 slide and a little groove cut out on the 22 slide. Cosmetic and not enough to return and deal with the hassle. That is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The frame came with quite a few little pieces of metal floating around in it left from machining. No big deal because you should always do a cleaning first anyway. Fit and finish are top quality, shoots like a dream with very little kick due to the heavy frame and design of the slide. Feels great in everyones hand who has touched it so far. I don't consider myself a gun expert but I am a former Marine and Soldier and I would trust my life to this gun hands down.

Very nice combo.This is a no nonsense CZ 75 clone.Nice trigger,adequate sights on the 45 slide. This Tanfoglio large frame fits my big Ole hands better than pistol I've ever held.Know that you will need to feed the .22 upper good high velocity ammo.The most reliable I have found is CCI Mini Mag 36 or 40 gr cycles it better anything else.Short strokes or jams with Federal,Remington or Winchester bulk pack ammo or any Match grade ammo.Copper plated Aguila HV works well if you can fit it or CCI for that matter(2013)Very nice sights on the .22 slide. The .22 upper also fits mt Tanfoglio Bullseye pistol and that is the frame usually "lives" on.

In these times of outrageously priced ammo, this combo is a MUST! Extremely high quality, functions well using either 22 or 45 ammo. Get this, you will not be sorry!

well, first thanks to buds. despite the current situation the item shipped fast and was correct. The pistol performed just as well, ive only shot 50 rounds of each caliber but had no failures, accuracy was great.

At point I am very satisfied with my EAA Witness purchase. Only have had the opportunity to get a couple of clips through the weapon. But had no issues with the 22LR or the 45 ACP. The only disappointment I have was the slow shipment from Bud's. Albeit within the 7 days they promised, it was down to the wire. So throw a weekend in the mix, it took 10 or 11 days before it reach my FFL dealer, not the 3-5 I have read so much about. Again, they met the described timeline in their documentation. But I was like a small child waiting for Christmas. Saved about $100 over local dealer, so it was well worth the wait. WT

Runs flawlessly on 45's or 22's .....any brand. Also have FN's, HK's, & Kimber..........And this is the most fun & most used. Again BUDS was also FLAWLESS.

Wow -- I can't believe these combos are actually less expensive now than when I bought mine! What an awesome deal. This .45 is now my bedstand weapon. Flawlessly reliable, and 4X4 targets at 40 yards are no problem whatsoever. Built like a tank. With a light/laser on it and a bunch of Federal Hydrashocks in it, am not sure how it can be beat for this application. Might not be as pretty as some of the fancy guns out there, but these things are tools to me, and I don't own any pearl-handled shovels. An EAA steel compact is my daily carry piece. Has been for many years. My oldest son carries the same thing. Everyone can laugh all day about how inexpensive ("cheap") these EAAs are, but I've had a whole lot more trouble with guns that cost twice as much. Even three times as much. The 22LR top end is the only 100% reliable semi-auto 22 I've ever owned (with Thunderbolt 22 hollowpoint ammo). I've heard from others that the 22LR can be ammo-picky, so maybe I just happened to pick the kind it likes. In any case, I don't feel the need to try any others. This 45/22 combo gets 5 stars, and the current cost isn't even $100 per star.
