Bold looks and innovative features make the Winchester Super X3 Field a beautiful sight to behold and a force to reckon with. Weighing in at a scant 6 3/4 pounds — thanks to a weight-saving magazine tube and recoil spring system, slim barrel with a machined rib, and an alloy receiver, — the 3" chambered Super X3 Field has all the features you want in a field gun, or a sporting gun for that matter. The self-adjusting Active Valve gas system reduces recoil significantly more than recoil-operated systems and a proprietary next generation Pachmayr® Decelerator® recoil pad is fitted to further increase shooting comfort. Trim grip and forearm dimensions add to the lightweight, fast handling feeling. The .742" Back-Bored Technology and Invector-Plus™ choke tube system work together to provide perfect patterns. A unique gunmetal grey Perma-Cote UT (Ultra Tough) surface finish is applied to external surfaces for extreme corrosion protection, and the bolt is plated with electroless nickel for added corrosion resistance. This is one shotgun you must experience to believe. Three choke tubes and two stock spacers for length of pull adjustments are included.

I love this gun! The SX3 shoots great, cycles fast, points well and hits where it should.

This is my best semi-auto shotgun - never fails to cycle, no matter the load (low-brass cheap stuff or 3" mag, it all goes through). Very easy to disassemble and clean. My only issue was I did at first have a difficult time hitting targets and ducks with this shotgun - ultimately, I invested in some Carlson chokes and took the time to pattern the shotgun. I discovered that this shotgun patterns high, which I now understand is common for European shotguns (I'm used to an 1100). Now that I know where to put my bead, hitting the target has become much easier. Note: comparing the factory Invector chokes (that came with the SX3) to the Carlson's extended, on paper the Carlson's do pattern a bit more consistently and a bit more true to choke, but the difference is not huge - I'm keeping the Carlson's because it's easier to change chokes without a key, but to tell you the truth the Invector chokes are almost as good as the Carlsons. But I digress - this is a nice shotgun, highly recommended. If you buy this shotgun, pattern it to see where your pattern is going!!

Great field gun. I've used it for trap so far as I prepare for SD pheasant season. Shoulders great, points quick and looks super. Cycles low brass #8 with no trouble right out of the box. High brass should be no problem at all.

The shotgun is great. One "minor" problem is that I tried to replace the cheap front sight and it broke off flush. Some research on the internet prior to attempting to remove it I had read that would likely happen. But now a days most people will replace it so why make it impossible to remove it? Anyway, the shotgun is great and I'll just install a magnetic or similar sight rather than pay a gunsmith to drill it out.

Wow ,this gun is great. I had shot a browning silver and hoped this gun would be that good since they are pretty much the same, and it didn't let me down. It swings on target better than any auto shoty I have ever shot. It is very light and some how has very little kick. My father has bad arthritis in his back and didn't want to but I convinced him to try and it didn't bother him at all. I was shooting 7 1/2 shot 2 3/4" shells with 1 1/8 oz load. These do not kick bad anyways but between the gas system and the recoil pad almost all recoil is gone. I have never shot clays as well as with this gun. Just in case you don't know this is a FN Belgium gun. It has cycled every different load I have with ease. I don't know what else to say other than well worth the $.
