Yamil, what you hear is correct. 4.5lb Trigger Pull with a Short Trigger Reset and is smooth as butter once the trigger safety disengages. It’s as smooth and clean as you could ask for, even compared to many aftermarket Triggers.

This pistol is a "Striker Fired" Pistol and has the same Trigger Type Safety as a Glock. Function wise this is not an economy as I own several Glocks and TP9's and they are even in durability and accuracy.

The item description says its got a standard 3 dot sight. My understanding of the elite was it came with Warren Fiber Optic Front Tactical Set as standard equipment. Is the description wrong or is this a custom model that doesn't follow the default config?

The recoil spring is an often cited problem for this gun, but most people are saying they got a replacement spring from Century Arms which stopped the ejection failures. Are these guns being fitted with the fixed springs from the factory at this point, or do you still have to request a replacement?

Century Arms is acknowledging there is an issue with the RSA in the Elite firearms, I contacted Century Arms for a replacement recoil spring assembly. I received an email back a few hours later requesting more information. I had to provide serial #, part(s) requested, reason for request, a copy of my purchase receipt and sign a liability waiver. I recently replied with all information requested. Hopefully that will be it and I'll receive a new RSA and put the issue with weak ejection to rest with my Elite. From what I understand, all new Elites being purchased have the new RSA installed in them. The original RSA is very stiff and intended for hotter ammo than what we here in the U.S. normally use. I'll update this thread as I go through the process to receive a new RSA. Once I receive it, I plan to do a comparison video in regards to the ejection pattern of the different springs. I hope to see a noticeable difference. I do appreciate that Century has acknowledged the issue and is making it right with all us Elite owners.

Nick, this is the newest iteration and I have two and have had no cycling issues whatsoever after 4-500 rounds each. So, I deduce these have the upgraded recoil springs already.

I love the looks and the feel of this pistol , but unfortunately I happen to have gotten one that has problems , the first chance I got to take it to the range it failed to fire , after a long closer look at it ,I found that the while pulling the slide back it failed to lock the striker pin in place which cause the trigger to be inactive , but when I applied pressure on the slide it would lock striker pin in place , but if you release the pressure it would fire on it's own , mind you I did this testing with dummy rounds to prevent and miss fires with live ammo , I still want this pistol , it is a very nice feel and look and I trust that it will work after I get it corrected , this is the 3rd Canik I own, and I'm very happy with them very straight shooters and good recoil , would I buy this pistol again ,yes

Fantastic weapon....Trigger is the best out of the box trigger in the world. Fit and finish are superior. The look of the weapon is outstanding. The Value is amazing...If you are on not sure about buying this over a Glock 19....Let me assure you i have owned Glock 19 and this is without a doubt a superior weapon in every way..IE warren tactical sights to Glock plastic sights...is just one example there are many many others.and for those who want to discuss reliability...Canik reliability is just as good if not better than Glock. First of all, if you're considering buying one of these Canik's, go ahead and do it. They are manufactured in Turkey, and perform as well as any pistol you can buy, even the high dollar stuff. There are no triggers out there any better than the Canik TP9SF Elite, and I'm even a 1911 trigger fan. I watched a ton of you tube videos about the Canik, and tell you the truth, that's what prompted me to buy this pistol. Everybody loves it, and so do I. It is actually a fun gun to shoot, and there is no break in period required to loosen it up. There was absolutely no difference in the feel and operation of the gun from the first round to the 500th round. It is a little large and heavy for CC for my tastes, but makes a great vehicle and or home defense weapon. The only one con I have against the Canik, and it's a small one, it's ejection is weak using 115 grain ammo. The casings would land on top of my head. I changed to 124 and 147 grain, and it cycles like a champ. Having said that, it will shoot 115 grain but if you don't mind having them land on your head, or in your front pocket, you're good to go. I hope this review has helped you make a decision about this Canik, and where to purchase one. Every time I buy from Bud's, I always walk out knowing I've made a friend with a retail staff member, and a good purchase. Bud's is great for selection, product knowledge, and customer service.

This Canik TP9SF Elite is an amazing firearm. Out of the box I broke it down, wiped it out with a couple of patches and lubed it and have had to the range 3 times since I bought it and have put 600 rounds down range with zero malfunctions. (Ive seen reviews on YouTube where the pistol malfunctions, but the gun comes with a heavy grease on the barrel and rails that has to be wiped off and a good gun lube applied before use and I believe they are not doing that for the review.) The gun is as accurate as you are, and feels great in the hands and looks great as well. I also own a Glock G45 in 9mm which needs no hype and is one of the best pistols you can buy at any price. But I have replaced it as my EDC with the Canik. In my opinion they are equals in reliability and performance but the Canik is better looking at a better price. I also have it's big brother, the full size TP9SF and have more than 2000 rounds through it without a malfunction. They come in a very nice hard case with 2 mags, 2 backstraps, a speed loader, a holster and brush. If you want reliability, good looks and bang for your buck you have to own one.
