Is this a GEN2 BUDS is sealing ? Has anyone tried to fit the 308 upper on it ? How is the Accurracy ? Would you trust it for Hunting Hog or Deer under 100yrs ?

Yes and yes Mike. According to the guys at UTAS, the XTR-12 uses a DPMS AR-10 lower. In fact, you can get a DPMS .308 upper slap it on the XTR-12 lower and it will work. It should be very accurate with a quality upper.

Hey Mike, yes. This is an AR10 lower so you could put a .308 upper on it. For deer and hogs under 100 yds, w/ .308? absolutely. Stock? there are better options, but if your comfortable with it and you're using the right ammo, you should be set. Hope that helps!

I am very pleased with the quality of this and the fact that it is a “True” AR platform shotgun. The quality is great even the pacakaging is quality. About the only thing I would like is a magazine for hunting that is a 2 + 1 for 3 rounds, and wish it came with a set of sights for the price. But still a god value and would recommend Getting one. In comparison to the ATI Omni 410 I picked up at the same time much better build.
