Henry makes this shotgun in two models. The 24" barrel has only the front bead. No rear sight. The 19.75" barrel has the brass bead front and "Fully Adj. Semi-Buckhorn w/ Diamond Insert" rear sight.

Terry, yes. It has Fully Adjustable Semi-Buckhorn With Diamond Insert Rear Sight & Brass Bead Front Sight.

What kind of external safety does this gun have?

Jason - 1: The shotgun will not fire unless the lever is completely 'closed'; 2: The hammer acts as a safety, if desired. It can be lowered carefully to 'decock' the shotgun 3: (most important) the shooter's trigger finger - keep it off the trigger until ready to fire the weapon.

Jason, this rifle features the same sliding transfer bar "safety" system in it's hammer. (Transfer Bar Safety). The rifle also has a Lever cocking mechanism where the rifle will not fire unless the Lever is fully closed after cocking.

Does the receiver allow for a scope to be mounted on it?

I see it says “screw in full choke”, does that mean that it takes different choke tubes?

Yes sir if it has screw in choke tubes, then it will accept different size choke tubes.
