This Savage B17 is very accurate with the 20g Hornady fmj and xtp I had on hand. I haven't tried any 17g ammo yet. Nice trigger and the magazine works fine. Stock design fits well. My only issue with the rifle is that reinserting the bolt is very frustrating. The front end of the bolt spins freely during reinsertion and proper alignment is difficult.

Picked this up for my wife, she [technically it's the gun] can shoot 1/2 MOA out to 150 yards all day long.

Great rifle for the money. I sighted the rifle in at 100 yds. It is below MOA with each 5 shot group. Best group so far was .560. For the price of rifle and ammo this is a fun varmint rifle that will not break the bank or leave you reloading into the night for an early morning varmint hunt.

Just got the rifle the other day , it was shipped fast and with in 3 days it was in my hands . Have t had the chance to get out and shoot it yet !! But looks and feels amazing . As always buds is the best when it comes to costumer service / fast and easy services .. can’t wait to put some rounds through the camber

A great bargain on a truly excellent gun. By any verifiable standards it is accurate. The heavy varmit barrel is an added plus and makes aiming an easy task. Paired with a Bushnell Rimfire scope, it is an ideal varmint and small game gun. I highly recommend to anyone.

Very accurate firearm. Really like the 10 round flush fitting magazine. Bud's service was excellent. Ordered a Monday, at my FFL that Friday.

Awesome rifle. The new stock profile is a great upgrade from the the old 93 stock. The action is very smooth. I'm glad I went with the 21 inch barrel over the 16.25 because after actually holding the rifle the 16.25 would have been too short. I bought and mounted one of the Bushnell/Savage A17 scopes with some Simmons scope rings and added an Allen bipod. $350 total for the entire setup is a great value.

A lot of gun for the money. This specific model with varmint barrel is extremely accurate. The stock is decent for being a polymer and with the tang safety its nice for lefties. Overall I am pleased with this firearm, Savage did a good job. Bud's of course was quick to ship and good on the price.

This is a quality and well built gun. It’s shoots very well. I have tried every ammo available on buds for it and the Hornady 20 grain XTP bullets shoot the best out of this rifle.
