I saw this one and just had to have it. Made an offer and Bud's accepted it, saving me some $$ which is nice.
Overall opinion; this is an excellent pistol for the money.
I cleaned it after picking it up from my FFL dealer and took it to the range a few weeks later. Then fired about 300 rounds of various types of .22 LR and only had one fail to fire and that was because it was a dud round.
The fit and finish is perfect.
Nice, beefy target grip.
Good balance and fun to shoot.
You will not be disappointed in this one.
Buds, as always we great!
VERY satisfied customer here!

Bud's was fine and made the purchase simple. The pistol is another story! The magazines will not lock in place, the gun will not fire. The grip is massive, and this make holding it difficult/impossible. I am forced to send it in for repair. There was also rust on the gun, which isn't very impressive.

Well, where to Start. This gun shipped and arrived very reliably, just like EVERY BUD's purchase. It feels perfect in my large hand. I spent a day shooting about 400 rounds from several different brands. All shot very well. I had a the most trouble with the mag dislodging from the locked in position every few shots. The mag release is on the front of the grip just below the trigger guard. WHY???? The pad of my middle finger falls directly over the release and normal recoil causes mag to unlock, it does not drop out but it will not cycle. I am very disappointed. I made a minor adjustment when cleaning it and will try it again. If no happiness is found, I will call S&W for a fix.

I have had a few years of absolute fun with this firearm, I use it for target practice only. It is extremely accurate, reliable and fun to shoot. The trigger pull is very light and recoil non-existant. It is very easy to field strip and clean/lubricate. The only shortcoming is its weight--it is very heavy for a 22cal.

Great looking gun . I can't wait to test it out for critical testing .Stay tuned in a couple of weeks for my full review on this gun along with my review on my California legal 4-inch ,10 shot magazine Smith & Wesson .40 caliber . This should be some interesting shooting .

This is a great fun gun. I've had it for six months and am quite happy with it. The only warning for this model is that the grip is larger than the rubber version. If you have medium-large to large hands and fingers, the grip is fine but if your hands are smaller than average, the grip will feel big and bulky. The only other issue is feeding in the magazines. The grip extends below the frame for a funnel effect and one must make sure the magazine is fully seated by pushing the mag up until it clicks otherwise it will not fire due to the mag safety built in. Other than these small issues, I would recommend it to a friend.
