Cool clone tough pistol

Great tool, I always wanted one since they came out, so waited and finally gotten one. For the price of Sig I was able to get two, this one and the compact. Many thanks to Bud to make this happen.

I have to admit that I was a bit on the fence about buying this since I didn't know much about them or the quality of their pistols. After reading the reviews here and online I decided to take the jump, and after shooting it yesterday, I'm very glad I did. This is not a pistol for wimps as it's a bit of a beast, but it's well built and functioned flawlessly during my shooting. As mentioned earlier, it is a bit of a challenge to rack the slide back, but not so much to deter you from buying one. While the trigger pull is a bit on the heavy side, I didn't find that it impaired my ability to get a good shot off. It did take me a couple of mags to get the sight picture figured out, but once I did it shot quite well. I'm no marksman, but even I did well with it, so no complaints at all about the accuracy. I may end up getting new sights for it, but I want to shoot it a few more times before making that decision as the ones that are on there are more than adequate for most days at the range. Like some others have commented, I also put new Hogue grips on it that felt better than the stock ones and gave me a better grip on it. Even though I also have a Sig P226, I have absolutely no regrets about buying this pistol. It's very well built, the machining is top notch, and the reliability of it so far has been 100%. It may not be the cheapest pistol out there, but it's worth the money in my opinion.

very good quality pistol for the price, definitely on par with the p226 and possibly even better if you take into consideration the MAC gauntlet test on youtube. the fit and finish is damn near immaculate, from what i can tell the recoil handles very similar to p226, although i havnt shot a p226 very much. i've put maybe 400 rounds or so and havnt had any malfunctions. there are some things i dont like about it, releasing the slide requires you to shift your grip slightly, and cocking the hammer back is difficult with one hand. if you have large hands maybe you will have an easier time. having a 17 round capacity makes the large size of the grip worth it. the gun seems to be decently accurate, although i am by no means a good judge of pistol accuracy. im sure it will shoot wherever you point it.

I have to say I am really impressed with this weapon. If you are on the fence about it it’s definitely worth the purchase. Look at some online YouTube videos of it and you will be impressed.

This is a great pistol. People with small hands may want to look at a compact model. I have big hands and the full size model fills my hand. You can’t go wrong, get you one before the price starts going up when the word get out as to how great these pistols really are!

This is the second Arex Rex Zero 1 that I have bought through Bud's. They are well made, accurate, and reliable. While it is a handful for me, with mid sized hands,the controls are easy to operate. I really like these pistols.
