• Q: can it shoot 40 sw and 10 mm , because the magazine is 40 sw/10mm ?????

  NO The shorter Cal will not headspace correctly in the longer 10 mm chamber and if you want to shoot both send it back to RIA and have them fit a 40 S&W barrel (need barrel and recoil spring) to your gun

  Nathanael, yes Sir. I have this and the 6 inch barrel Big Rock and a high percentage of standard 1911 Holsters will fit fine.

• Q: How easy or hard is it to get magazines for this gun? Are there after market magazines, or can you only get them from the manufacturer?

  Robert, These are relatively easy to get. Buds gets them in regularly and I buy mine mostly directly from Rock Island/ Armscor : https://armscor.com/parts-accessories/magazines/

• Q: Can the magwell be removed from this model and will it reliably function then ??

  It looks like the pin that holds it in place also holds the mainspring housing so you'd need a short pin for the housing. Then the grips have been cut down also so there'd be a gap at the bottom. Better to just leave it alone.

• Q: I am curious if the grips on this gun are removable planning on hydro-dipping a design on them. Also can you change the grips all together like 1911s?

  Sergio, the grips should be easily removed with an appropriately sized hex bit. The flared mag well may need to be removed first in order to take them off. Other aftermarket grips designed for a standard 1911 should also fit this gun unless special grips were used to fit a flared mag well which I doubt.

  it comes with 1 16 round magazine To keep our firearms affordable, one magazine is included with each firearm purchase. Additional magazines for your firearm(s) can be purchased at Advanced Tactical or other after market magazine manufacturers. On a side note I sent mind back to RIA and had a 40S&W barrel fitted to be able to shoot both (10mm and 40) with a barrel and spring change

  well I have 8 RIA 1911s 45 CS (every day carry) 45 ultra, 40 ultra, 40 pro comp, 9mm tactical, 22tcm/9mm, 22lr xt22 and a 10 mm ultra and the are all great shooters and RIA customer service is great
