fit and finish are exceptional !
Regular carry of a 226 DA
First time with a striker fired pistol and, I find myself
a little uncertain about an accidental discharge.
It’s very difficult to accidentally pull the hammer back
on a loaded chamber and discharge a round.
Suppose I will become accustomed to it over time.

A:I've always been told you shouldn't slave the dot to the irons, meaning not to try adjust the elevation down to where it is a perfect cowitness with the front site, it busy up your field of view and makes acquiring the dot slower, plus because a reddot is single point of aim ots going to project out to ranges different then irons which are 2point aiming.See 2 more answers |
If your just talking about having your irons as a back up in case the electronics fail, then there is a notch in the rear of the romeo 1 that you use as your rear site and you should be able to see your front site post through this notch.
There are a couple youtube channels I watch for optics info and Aaron at sage dynamics is by far one of the best
Here's his video on the Romeo 1

A:Carl, This firearm is discontinued along with all of their factory carry frame models. According to Sig they will still make the frames as conversions, but no factory built models on the carry frame. I'm sure they will probably be introducing an X5 and X carry 2.0 in the next year or so, with a different slide cut that accommodates their new line of pistol optics. -

A:There's an echo in here .... The "main" difference between the two is the price and two rounds. All the rest minor dimension changes and add-ons. You can change almost every part of these guns to suit your needs and wallet. Sights, triggers, frames are all readily available to you as needed. I have two of them and love them. There is little difference between the brain and the target ...mostly in the wallet.See 4 more answers |
