CMMG 45ABF17 MkG45 Guard AR Pistol Semi-Automatic 45 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP) 8" MB 13+1 KAK Stabilizing Polymer Black CMMG's MkG Guard is an AR15-style pistol chambered in 45 ACP. The Guard is fed from factory Glock 21 magazines and uses CMMG's patent pending Radial Delayed Blowback operating system that tames the 45 ACP cartridge while simultaneously reducing the weight and felt recoil of the rifle. It also features a patent pending dual-pinned, fully machined bolt catch linkage, making operation of the rifle both easy and intuitive. The Guard is threaded (.578"-28 tpi) to accept most common 45 ACP suppressors, and is the perfect carbine for defending your home or enjoying a day at the range. The barrel is 4140 steel with a medium taper, 1:16" twist, and a black SBN (Salt Bath Nitride) finish capped with CMMG's SV muzzle brake. It has a forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver with a billet 7075-T6 aluminum lower receiver, and CMMG's single stage mil-spec style trigger. his model has a black KAK Shockwave Blade stabilizer and tube, Magpul MOE pistol grip, 8" barrel, and CMMG's free-floating 7" keymod handguard. Best firearm I've bought in the last few years! Bought (2) of these from Bud's. Took one out today to the range to try it out. Not disappointed! Firearm is light, easy to transition from one target to another. Performed flawlessly. Put a Sig red dot on top and never missed a shot. Rang all the metal targets every time. If you want a home defense firearm w/o having to worry about the over penetration / legal liability of a 5.56 this is the one to choose.

Amazing pistol caliber carbine pistol. I’ve put over 500 rounds through my with a suppressor and have had zero malfunctions. Fit and finish are impressive. This trigger is the smoothest trigger I’ve ever felt out of a stock AR-15. The trigger is smoother than my Colt LE6920. Glad I bought some 26rd mags, because it is a lot of fun to shoot. My EOTech from my 300 blackout has the same POI when placed on this. Would buy again.

Well I needed a great pistol with low recoil and a longer barrel for better longer accuracy. A carbine pistol that that matches my Glock 21 mags as well. The technology with last round hold open as well as the radial delayed blow back, put this pistol a head of the pack. This pistol is build with great quality and craftsmanship. It is very light even with a 26 round magazine. I have had SHEER enjoyment with this weapon and a red dot at 100 yards. Fast cycle and,very low recoil. My friend who is a retired military and a Vietnam veteran fell in love with this thing! I'm also have the CMMG 9mm Guard. It too is a pleasure to shoot! Don't hesitate! I have spent over 3 months researching a good 45 ACP pistol and this one fit my needs perfectly. (5 of 5 stars) *****

My main concern when purchasing this 45 guard was reliability, as this is a 1200 plus product. Happy to say I have had zero issues. I love this gun! It's my favorite gun now and you can tell it's of high quality. Hope to suppress it someday.
