Great firearm. I had a Sig P229 in 357 sig a while back and loved the gun but couldn't find ammo. I opted for this gun because who doesn't want a 45 acp and it was a Sig. I was going to make it my CCW and a house gun with a light attached. Shoots phenominally. Now for the bad news..... I received this at my FFL and took it home. Went to attach the light on and go shooting. The accessory rail on my gun in not to spec. It appears that it may have been cut to deep into the frame. So now it is just my primary CCW. As i said great firearm and if the only thing i have to complain about is that I'm happy. And the purchase from Buds was smooth sailing and a very good price. Will purchase from them again if i find what interests me.

This gun is beautiful. Plain and simple. Handles like a sig. You can not beat the price and of course, Bud's came through very quickly. Not a gun for small hands though.

This is definitely the heaviest pistol I have ever held in my hand. Rock Solid! which of course greatly diminishes the recoil. As with every Sig, it shoots great the first time and every time. Sig never fails to perform, but I do have one small disappointment.

In reading the other reviews I discovered that several people got two mags with their purchase. Mine only came with one, but I will take that up with their folks in New Hampshire when I can get through to them, what with the Nemo Storm and heavy phone traffic and all, plus I still gotta work during the days, right?

Don't know the problem, but it won't keep me from buying more Sigs when I can get them at a great price on Bud's.

Gun made it to FFL in about a week, which is about the longest I've had to wait from Buds. Quite impressive if you think about it. The p220 came brand new and greased up from the factory. It came with two magazines. I shot it the same day I picked it up, after giving it a good cleaning inside and some lubricating. Having never owned or fired a Sig Sauer, I did not know what to expect. Though, what lead me to bu this model were the great reviews. This gun shot like a DREAM! After one full magazine I knew I had picked up a keeper. My first four shots at 30 feet were in 2" groups right where I aimed at them. I've never experience such incredible accuracy right out of the box. My father and I put approximately ~120 rounds of standard range ammo and it ate and fired every round without a single flaw. This Sig Sauer with a 3.9" barrel was more accurate than my 5" 1911. I must say I am very happy with this purchase and with Sig Sauer in general. Now I need to find a good holster.

As always Sig makes a great product. I received my Sig P220 today and the photo does not do it justice! I haven't fired it yet ,but from the weight of it I suspect the recoil will not be as bad as some of the lightweight .45s I have. I have taken it down and wiped most of the shipping grease off of it.
A well made pistol and Buds did a great job of shipping it on time. With the way pistols are selling i imagine they are quite busy.
Like I said a very good looking carry .45 and well made.
