Albert - Most of the CZ-82s are sold with 2 magazines - however as these as these are used firearms, and there could be differences between each lot that is imported, different importers, etc, that might not necessarily be true for this particular pistol. Suggest you contact Buds customer service (859) 368-0371 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button in the lower right hand part of your screen, to verify the number of mags that come with this Makarov. .

Is the CZ 82 (HG1247V) the same condition rating (CAI Very Good) as HG1247VG. I want a gun that is very good plus functional condition and with decent finish. Normal wear is acceptable. What can I expect if I purchase this item. Should I spend the additional for the HG1247X? I appreciate any details and help with this. Thank you, Greg

the condition is the same the UPC crosses to a Very good condition I suspect someone typing in the model number left off the G as century arms does not list a v rating Also both guns have the same UPC

It is not Greg. It is slightly below the "Very Good" rating of the HG1247VG. I would spend the additional $ in this case to ensure quality satisfaction.

Does this have a fixed barrel like the cz83?

Yes it does Matt, same setup as the CZ83.

The 83 is the civilian version of the 82. they are all steel direct blow back with a fixed barrel.

Any idea how condition would be rated? Good, very good or excellent.

The CZ 82 was introduced in 1983 to the Czechoslovakian military, replacing the 7.62x25mm Tokarev vz. 52 pistol. The conventional blowback action allows the barrel to remain solidly fixed to the frame, resulting in improved accuracy over pistols with pivoting barrels. The low bore axis provides for less muzzle rise and quicker follow-up shots.

Impressed! The one I purchased the model number ended with a (V) it did have scratches and holster wear as described in the listing. I hope I would get lucky and get a prettier one (not) but! This firearm is crazy accurate and It was dead on point from the first shot. I don’t know if someone did something to the trigger but, it surprised me every time; it was like a hot knife though butter in single action and double action. It is now the one gun I own that I’m not careful putting it down on hard surfaces. I must say when I went to my FLL and looked in the box I said to myself you didn’t get the luck of the draw on this one but, at the range the gun proved otherwise. I shot 50 rounds at 10 and 15 yards, 2 inch groups easy with no malfunctions.

Nice pistol. Shoots flawlessly. My only issue is that they wouldn’t send this directly to me. I am a C&R holder and I had to pay a transfer fee.

I received my CZ-82 pistol the other day and I am very satisfied with it. While it is "cold war surplus" the pistol was functionally perfect and the finish was in the 80% to 90% range with only some holster wear at the muzzle. I like these 9mm Makarov Soviet era pistols. They are always good shooters and are available at very reasonable prices.

Gun shipped fast enough and the quality is "very good", however Bud's listing was inaccurate (originally listed 2 magazines included with firearm purchase) and the gun only showed up with 1 magazine. Bud's says it's not their problem since I accepted the trade. For the price of $319 I could have purchased it from another vendor and received 2 magazines.
