Stopped working 2 weeks after receiving it, very disappointed

This light reaches out to light up the dark much further than I needed it too. This is a great light that does as it states. At lease a 1200 lumen! I have another older led light claiming to have an output of 1200 lumen, but this Colt led light is much brighter. I recommend this product. You never know when you might need it.

The colt 1200 lumen peacemaker is a beautiful piece of quality workmanship. After seeing it and using it I was so impressed that I went back to buds to purchase 2 more for Christmas presents but they were out of stock. Hopefully they will be available in the near future. If you get a chance get one you will not be disappointed.any other flashlights of this quality are at least 3 times the price of this one. Excellent light for a great price.

This Colt AMRAM 1200 PeaceMaker flashlight is a tactical light on steroids. It's approx. 9 1/2" long and swallows up four 4CR123 batteries which put out 3V each. Of course it's solidly built, feels like a slightly lighter MagLite. There are 2 control buttons. The one on the butt can be used as either a momentary switch or the main on/off control while the one up on the neck, just below the flare, cycles through 4 or 5 brightness levels. The box says it will also strobe, but the one I've got doesn't want to do that. The flashlight seems to remember the brightness position it was set to when it was last turned off and will turn on at that same intensity, and that's a very nice feature since you can set it to the intensity level you think you're going to need the next time you turn it on. In my case, it's full on bright because it will be used as a disorienting tactic in a home defense scenario. I live on a golf course and I'm about 100 yards from a green. The night of the day that the flashlight arrived, I took it out and shined it at the flag on the green and the whole area lit up very brightly. To test its ability at longer distances, I would have had to point it at the houses across the fairway which I didn't think would be such a good idea. I know I wouldn't like it if someone were to shine a light as bright as this one into my rear windows. Bottom line: Given its components, I can't imagine that there will any longevity issues. It's certainly the brightest flashlight I've ever owned and I've no doubt that it will temporarily blind anyone who gets hit it in the face with its beam.I'm happy I bought it.

I own and have used many tactical and outdoor flashlights . This is one of the finest flashlights I have operated . Quality, Durability, and Projection are of the highest level . Great quality flashlight and super bright from a reputable company. And it's more than just a flashlight, it'll definitely leave a mark....lol Glad I was able to get my hands on one before they sold out.
