i purchased this shot gun for my grandsons to learn to shot but i,ve found i like it to it shots very well no complants at all . you wont be disapointed, buds handeled purchase great.

Backpack 410, 18.5"... Mixed feelings the gun feels solid but the QC is lacking here. Arrived without the 2 buttstock spacers and longer screws. Called Midland and they are sending them to me. More importantly the front bead protruded way down inside the barrel. I had to dress that myself to get it flush inside. Inexcusable lack of craftmanship even in a inexpensive shotgun. This should not be a problem with the 20 and 12 ga as they come with chokes and I assume they have to be dressed properly so the chokes will fit in the barrel. So we spent the afternoon working on it and actually shooting it will have to wait now for another day.. disappointed. So far I can only give it a 3... we'll see if that improves after shooting it.

The stock is way long for an 8 year old young shooter. It will miss fired and needed to be recocked about every 6th round. This is not a $400 .410 shotgun so as long as you understand what you are getting its worth every penny you pay for it. Maybe I should say every penny you didn't have to pay.

I purchased the Midland 410ga 18 1/2" barrel shotgun because I am very interested in the future flexibility of this firearm. By that, I mean the ability to purchase additional barrels down the road. To be honest, I would have preferred a 18 1/2" 20ga, but it was not offered at the time of my purchase. This gun is very light weight and nimble to handle. It is built well and has been a blast to shoot. ( no pun intended ) For $140.00 or so, there's no reason to Not buy it. Now I'm just waiting for phase 2 of Midland's marketing plan to kick in. Very happy with my purchase.

First off, thank you Bud's for doing what you do so well. Great web site, fast service and shipping and a good price. This little 410 is perfect for around the farm to take care of those little things that need taken care of. This is snake country here and this will take care of that rattle nice and quick. The fact that it folds up to fit in a back pack or under the truck seat is great. Plus I even stuck some goodies in the stock for the hike. I was wondering how tight the hinge would be and to my delight the fit is perfect. I don't have anything bad to say about this little shotgun. Easy to use and easy to shoot and easy on the wallet and the grandson loves it. For the money you can't go wrong. Buy one!
