In the reviews one customer says the photograph on display is showing a CM9 pistol, but the pistol he received is a CM9 Gen 2. I rather get the Gen 2 version.

Yes, this is a gen 2. Buds picture shows a regular cm9 but the upc shows the gen 2. In other websites picture for this upc you can clearly see gen 2 printed on the bottom corner on the right side of the grip. Hope this helps.

Just received my CM9 from BUDS. I'm very anxious and eager to get this gun to my local range!!! I read and viewed at least a dozen reviews of the CM9 prior to my purchase, and every owner of this handgun raved about it's design, dependability, and accuracy. The accessories: safety lock, punch tool, rear sight adjustment tool, cleaning tools, and extra back straps were another reason why I believe my purchase was a wise investment. I like the fact that this is a double action with thumb safety and a hammer. However, I thought I was getting a hammer drop safety, but you need to lower the hammer with your fingers or thumb after pulling the trigger. Not the best safety option. The adjustable sight on rear actually has made it very difficult to shoot accurately when compared to my M&P 9mm with fixed sights. Still having trouble grouping. I would not buy it again and would not recommend it.

I bought this gun not expecting much. It has become my favorite gun to shoot. If you plan on carrying this gun, it is a little heavy but remember you have 18 usable rounds

Excellent firearm. A little crude and unrefined just like me Its a working class gun. I mean, Fit and finish are as good as any, but the control levers are bulkier and stiffer when new than comparable guns. After a couple of hundred dollars downrange things smoothed out. I like it enough that this is my carry. Got a IWB from Fox for it. .

This gun is amazing. Low recoil, reliable, cuz design on a budget!
The extraction is a little erratic, but I’m only 100 rounds in at the moment. The gun came a little stiff, but after just a few rounds, it definitely smoothness out the safety and other controls. I highly recommend.

This is the Gen 2 cm9 not the k2p as shown in the picture. You will never get more gun at this price than anything on their whole sight. 1000 rounds of Winchester brown box forged steel case through this beast and not one single hiccup. And trust me when I say this ammo is complete garbage. Sar USA knows how to make an amazing gun for a ridiculously good price. I really can't emphasize how good this handgun is. Honestly I will only be buying turkish made handguns from now on.
