This is a great gun. Would buy it again. Buds did a great job.

This is the second Uberti 1873 Cattleman II that I have bought... The first has twin cylinders that allow it to fire .45 ACP + .5 Long Colt... I have really liked the mechanical action of both guns... Really good quality workmanship... The real selling point on both guns is the retracting firing pin that allows you to load all six cylinders while remaining perfectly safe... No more having to leave the hammer on an empty cylinder... They hid the retracting pin internally so that it looks exaxtly like an old time SAA... The only way to tell how it works is to remove the cylinder and let the hammer fully down... The firing pin will not protude beyond the rear face of the frame until the trigger is pulled.... Release the trigger and the pin retracts... No regrets about buying from Bud's........Dave Bloss...
