Keeping the solid frame and overall styling of their 1858 percussion revolver, Remington jumped into the cartridge pistol market in 1875 to compete directly against the Colt "Peacemaker." The 1875 Frontier chambered in .45 Colt comes with a 5-1/2" barrel.

Uberti 1875 Frontier Revolver 5" barrel in 45 Long Colt, copy of the Remington 1875 is a beautiful revolver. Hammer and trigger started stiff but quickly loosened up. Shoots well with good accuracy. I feel it's a good buy at listed price. Bud' has a good price on 45 Long Colt ammo too. I have been buying from Bud's for over decade, they have a good selection of firearms and ammo at good price. Lately I have notice that Bud's has been taking a longer time to ship about the full 7 days, I liked it better when it was 3-4 days. If you are looking for something different in a western revolver at a comfortable price this is it.
