Awesome little gun very light weight

Great little pistol to have. Extremely reliable. I’ve put about 2000 rounds through it and I’ve only had 2 jams which I would blame it more on the cheap practice rounds than on the pistol. I’ve never had an issue when using Defense carry ammunition. Caution you will need strong wrists cause the recall on this is extreme. But an awesome pistol none the less

I saw this gun at buds for sale. I thought it was beautiful with the red anodized frame. One of 250. I bought two of these defenders in red and two in purple as in investments.Beautiful bluing job on the slide and other components. Can't miss with a colt as an investment or a shooter. You always hear all these tales about how wonderful Les B, and Wilson Combat are. Ha... they are not Colts ! That's for sure. You just can't miss with a Colt Model 1911 variation of any kind. I have a Defender non anodized that I use as a shooter. Shoots spot on with no modifications. Maybe I'll buy a red defender as a personal protection carry just to show off the beautiful red anodized frame. Great work Colt ! ! !

AWESOME PISTOL. I would not expect any different from Colt or Buds. Great shooter right out of the box, looks are 10 out of 10. The anodized red is a matte anodization and not a bright red I had first imagined it’d be which makes it even better. This is my first TALO edition gun and they did a fantastic job. I will definitely think about another one they design. This pistol is 1 of 400 which may or may not add value, but again being a Colt it will hold all value.
