Cimarron 1874 Sporting 45-70 Goverment Single Shot Rifle - Blue/Black, 32" Barrel, 1 Round, Wood, Walnut Stock

This rifle is wildly fun even just for plinking, although reloading helps immensely, get a bullet mold, some lead from the scrap yard and a melting pot. Beings your this far, might as well pick up a 45lc in a wheel gun and cast those as well! The rifles fit and finish is nice, the wood rather plain but expected, the bluing is nice and dark. The double set trigger are a pleasure to work. Case ejection is strong. Accuracy has been good with my limited testing and surely adequate for most individuals.

I received this rifle in good order. All components are well fitted. The finish is excellent on both the metal and wood. I am well pleased.

Beautiful rifle. The fit and finish is exceptional. My only complaint is that the stock was finished in gloss. I believe a more historically accurate representation would have been a satin finish or something a little more dull than gloss— however, gloss is more durable.
