Oh, I love this pistol! A bit on the heavy side for some; but I prefer an all steal pistol, what I call heirloom quality. I have both this pistol and the Tanfoglio Witness Hunter 10mm. The hunter is longer and mostly for my hunting side arm, this Pro is my full size CCW pistol, in a shoulder holster. My compact carry is a SIG P365 (tacpac purchase). When I go to the range, this Witness Pro 10mm is really easy to get 2-3 inch groups at 10 yards, not as easy as the Witness hunter; but the Witness Hunter is a 6" barrel and very light single action trigger. This Pro double action trigger isn't too light a double action pull; but is still light enough that it is easy to have an accurate 1st shot, the single actions shots after the initial shot of the Witness Pro are really easy light trigger pulls. Really Happy with this pistol, and my hunter too. Love the CZ75 feeling pistol and Tanfoglio makes quality pistols.
Stuff to know:
The shipped spring seemed too weak and the slide was slamming back too hard, most forum folks seems to have, including myself, went to the 20# spring for best results. The 18# spring seemed to stove pipe rounds occasionally, where the 20# was working flawlessly. This was using standard Seller and Bellot 10mm FMJ 180 grain. Also worked perfectly with Hornady custom defense load, which is what I currently have loaded (either the 150 or 180) 180 personally is my preference; but I will use whatever one is available. The mag springs don't seem to feed the first round when fully loaded and using the recoil spring the pro is shipped with, I am having no issue with feeding a full mag using the 20# spring. Once you put the 20# recoil spring in the pistol, with the slide being a small "CZ75 patterned" internal slide size, the purchase on the slide isn't much, tiny and not easy to grip and takes a strong grip and strong hand to work. This pistol would be difficult to rack the slide if you have a weak grip and really big hands. If you have the slide cut for an RMR then you might be able to resolve slide charging by using an option for enhanced grip, I didn't do this, it is just a thought. I am used to gripping and racking this pistol and it doesn't give me any issues; but if you are used to a 9mm this takes a strong grip to rack a charge into the chamber.
Note: My Witness Pro Tactical, all steel, came with a bull barrel and seems might be limited production runs, not sure; but it doesn't seems to be advertised much or show available much, might turn into a collector pistol. I have put 200 rounds through mine so far and once I went to the 20# recoil spring is has worked flawlessly and is easy to get tight groups. To some it might seem heavy for an EDC; but for me not with a shoulder holster.

This gun is a STEAL!!! I was planning on buying the regular Witness Steel in 10mm, until I discovered this gem. It is basically the same price. After researching the gun, I discovered this is the slide from the Stock I on the frame of the Elite Match. Those guns are both $800-1000. It is a limited time thing, and they're gone. I believe this happened because Tanfoglio just updated the Stock I and wanted to get rid of the old slides.
The only negative I can think of is that this pistol is heavy. Every person that has handled it says that almost immediately. But it feels so good and solid. It fits your hand like a glove. The trigger is great (though it can use some polishing), and feels about like 10lb (DA) and 4lb (SA) to me out of the box. After giving it a trigger job at home, it feels more like 8lb/3lb to me. It is now butter smooth. I will warn you that mine was filthy and dry as a bone when I got it. Don't judge it too harshly before lubing it up. I could not be happier with the purchase. Oh, the magazines also don't take 14 rounds. I've read a lot of people saying they are hard to load, but I can only get 13 in mine, and I'm a carpenter with very strong hands. Round 14 just will not go. Maybe it will loosen up over time.
If these are still in stock, buy them while you can. They won't be around long.

Function is flawless. Fit and finish are superb, no complaints. I did order a couple extra mags that had an incorrect orange follower installed. Contacted EAA and they sent correct replacement followers. Followers should be red or black. Beware orange followers on spare mags. If you happen to get any EAA will send the correct ones. Great customer service from EAA by the way. The got back to me within a couple hours of sending them a message and sent the replacement followers ASAP.

Very nice firearm, just what I was looking for to carry back country. With quality ammo, the firearm hit on target without any fail to feed or fail to fire issues. The size and frame style fit my hands perfectly which helps me remain consistent with my draw and point of aim.
The only "negative" I have is that the magazines do not seat well in the frame when loaded with 14 rounds. The fourteenth round bulges out the width of the magazine, which binds on the interior of the mag well. That last round also does not leave much spring compression to seat the magazine in the frame. However, not enough of a negative to reduce my five star rating. Thirteen rounds of 10mm is sufficient for my uses.

This is a very accurate and controllable hand gun that is hefty and fits well in my hands. Before I fired it I replaced the factory spring with a 20# Wolff which I believe is just right for full power 10 MM loads. Functioning has been 100% to date. There's really nothing not to like about the pistol but I believe I will upgrade to a reflex sight before deer season to get the most accuracy possible of this Italian beast.

This pistol is fish nor fowl. It's not quite a competition firearm, but could be used competitively. It's too big and has a manual safety, which disqualifies it as a carry piece. There's little aftermarket support for it also. However...it's a hoot to shoot and the CZ75 lineage lends itself magnificently to 10mm. This is a range toy and outdoors (Interior Alaska) carry piece. I've run mine hard and it's been reliable, and it's even more accurately shootable than my Dan Wessons.
