TAURUS 1911 COM EXE 45AP 8RD Black - Stainless/Silver, 4.25" Barrel, 8+1 Rounds, 3-Dot Sights

Purchased this pistol, looking for an affordable commander size .45 cal. 1911. Purchased an extra mec-gar 8rd mag as well. Was received in very condition, with a carrying case, lock, barrel bushing wrench, and extra grips in black. Cleaned, and lubed it, then took it to the range. Have fired around 500 rounds so far, with no failures. Sights worked well, is a natural pointer. Gun is heavy, to be expected being all steel. Recoil is very manageable. The coating on the slide will scratch fairly easy, not a problem for me, as I like the look of a used gun. Have an alien gear iwb tuck holster, that works great with this firearm. Have been carrying it on me, for a couple weeks. Have a valid LTC. With the holster, the weight really isn't a problem, very comfortable. Has 3 dot white sights. Bought, and installed Novak Taurus 1911 tritium night sights, with orange ring front sight. Really enjoy shooting this pistol. Have let others shoot it also, so now they want one too!.
