Outstanding Plinker from a GREAT SELLER!

This has been a fun purchase that has brought my son and I together for many hours of target practice. The gun functions flawlessly no matter what type of ammunition we feed it. We topped ours with a reflex sight and have not looked back. We chose to use Ruger magazines with the shipped insert. For a take down pistol cartridge carbine, the firearm has been relatively accurate. While not pretty, it is functional.

This is a good rifle. It shoots store bought and my .40 reloads. I put a red dot on it.

This rifle fresh out of the box put all the rounds in the target center. Never had a gun do that before.

Where do I start.........I got my first PCC in 40 about a year ago. It malfunctioned will all ammo, both in Glock and Ruger mags. I tried about 5 different Glock mags (all new) and it would malfunction 2-3 times each mag. Also, the rear sight fell off after the first 50 rounds or so. I tried 3 different types of factory ammo as well, no reloads. I sent the rifle back to Ruger THREE times and they were unable to duplicate. I sent numerous pics, vids as well. After the THIRD time of sending the rifle back, they replaced it. They sent me a new one as a replacement. I decided to not even bother with the Glock mags and now just run the Ruger mags. It has a Failure to Feed on the last round of EVERY mag (still with factory loads). Needless to say, I will not be sending this one back. It is literally a brick, it's not enjoyable to shoot with a malfunction on each magazine.

In 40 S&W the PC Carbine solidly hits the torso target at 80 yards with 180 grain Sig Sauer ammo, but I think 50 yards is where this thing shines best or about twice the distance of your pistol. If you like the Ruger 10/22, you'll find complete disassembly and cleaning to be very familiar with the PC Carbine. The ghost ring sights are easy to use and adjust. Switching to the Glock magazine adapter is a simple drop in with the stock removed, 15 & 22 round 40 cal mags function fine in this.

The Ruger PCC is a great firearm. It will shoot all day long. The weapon is solid and just. a lot of fun to shoot.

I'll start off this review by saying I have not had the opportunity to fire this weapon. Aside from that, I'll give awesome reviews for the purchasing process. The weapon arrived as ordered to my local FFL guy. I look forward to taking it to the range and firing glock mags through it.
