The stainless steel barrel and slide have a black ferric nitro-carburized finish. The deal of a lifetime, A NIB CCW or open carry, "Compact DA Semi-Auto Pistol. in 9mm Luger comes with 2 mags from factory made in the USA."1 7 and one 8 round both with the bumper and the 8 with extended bumper pads. when I picked up for inspection the molded checkered presented grip poly frame fits like a glove in my size 10 hands, both hands with ambidextrous mag release and slide lock release.The Mission Statement and history are Unique and must be read by all who want to be part of this affordable handgun for all sizes.The deal on this model with buds was spot on.There is an option for a safety.I find unnecessary! The trigger pull at 5- 6 lbs.with a fast reset just as great as any DA Glock or the P320 SIG SAUER. The takedown feature like SIG to exchange the frame and longer slide are a great add-on. This Hand Gun shoots At 7,5 and 3 yards this Pistol has manageable recoil. for CQB defense.grouping with a hand rest at 10 yards at 1/2 groups with 115-grain FMJ P loads from Federal. This handgun is a pleasure to shoot and handle and will be my back up choice.IWB, OWB, and Appendix carry. A 4 star instead of a 5 is.You can buy extra palm swell back straps if you have a mag release problem to clear from hang-ups when changing out mags. The other drawback is a slide lock reload but with practice traditional slide lock reloads works well.But a keeper for me.
