Ruger's LCR is a lightweight, small-frame revolver with a uniquely smooth trigger and highly manageable recoil. It features a monolithic frame with a grip peg allowing for use of a variety of grip styles, and an extensively fluted, high-strength stainless steel cylinder with a PVD finish for excellent durability. The patented, friction-reducing cam is a next generation design in fire control systems resulting in a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull. Its patented, polymer fire control housing holds the fire control components in their proper dimensional relationships, reduces weight significantly, and helps reduce recoil. LCR revolvers have a replaceable, pinned ramp front sight with white bar. CRx models feature an external hammer that allows it to be fired in single-action mode. CRx revolvers in 9mm Luger have a frame made from 400 series stainless steel and include three (3) full moon clips that act as both a speed loader for the 9mm rounds and aid in the ejection of the spent cartridges. his model has a matte black finish with a 1.87" barrel, integral u-notch rear sight, and is fitted with a black Hogue Tamer Monogrip. An exceptional gun with better than average accuracy. I don't shoot it all that much. I was interested that I don't loose out on velocity compared with other full sized 9mm pistols.

Perfect size for personal carry with enough punch to be useful. The trigger is smooth but such a light gun with a short grip takes some practice to keep on target. I’d like a more visible front sight but that’s an easy fix. If you’re going to shoot a lot you’ll probably want a longer grip.

Don't like the ring clips. Snappy little gun but of course you need the moon clips in order to work. Have a jam the first 100 rounds sold it right after that.

I have had this revolver for a couple of years now; 300 rounds through it and function has been flawless.

I purchased this gun from Buds on 4/4/20. It was shipped really fast to my local FFL and arrived today 4/8/20. I went to pick it up. I looked it over as my paperwork was going through. Opened the cylinder a few times and shut it. I never even dry fired the gun once. Once I got home I tried opening the cylinder again and the hammer, trigger and cylinder was completely locked up with a loud rattle when you shake it. I went back to the dealer they couldn't believe it was already broken either. We didn't know what to do so for next 30 minutes I was connected and disconnected with various buds customer service agents. I finally was shuffled around to call Ruger. After another half hour with Ruger they scheduled UPS to pick up the gun from my house address to be repaired tomorrow. Looking at another 3 to 6 weeks before I get it back. A major disappointment of a day but the worst part is I don't know if my confidence will ever be restored by Ruger or Buds again? I don't know how I feel about carrying a gun that malfunctioned before pulling the trigger even once. After further research looks like Ruger is having a lot of these problems with the LCR and the cylinder seizing. This experience has been a total waste of time and money. I'm contemplating on selling all my other Rugers now. I'm pretty mortified this could happen with a firearm of a reputable name before it even shoots one bullet.

Shoots well for what it is. Easily puts hits on a 10 inch plate at 25 yards. It has a great double action trigger.
