The slide and frame are precision machined from aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, while the steel slide block encloses the firing pin and extractor. Buds online store kept me up to date on my order status, almost every day, and I was really impressed by that. The gun I purchased was a Browning 1911, 22. I couldn't find this pistol anywhere locally. It only took 5 days, to get it from buds, and it is perfect. The fiber optic sights are amazing. The action is smooth, and the whole gun is beautiful. I'm very pleased with my purchase and look forward to doing business with Bud's again soon.

This was my first purchase from Bud's and it won't be the last. I was a little hesitant to purchase a gun over the internet but Bud's price was $509 and a local shop offered to order it in at a cash price of $669 (that was so nice of them). Academy could order it in for $699. Okay, $90 or $160 is a lot of money so I took the chance. It was a great experience. I cleaned the gun and went to the range and put 100 rounds through it. I love it. It worked perfectly! Of, course, it was CCI Mini-Mags that I got from Bud's so what do you expect!! Okay, a word about the cash price. I did the e-check. When they say it will take 5 days, they mean five full business days. Now I wasn't in any real hurry, but keep this in mind if you're in the hurry for something. It only saved me $15. Also, keep in mind that this gun only comes with one magazine, which I detest. Hey manufacturers, don't be cheapskates. No gun should only come with one magazine!! But, Bud's to the rescue, I was able to get a magazine for it about $20 cheaper than anywhere else.
