The Insight Technology M6 is a weapon mounted tactical light and laser combination. It is used in law enforcement and for personal defense and home security. The Xenon bulb on the M6 has a peak output of 90 lumens. The Class IIIa red laser has a range of 200 meters. The M6 mounts easily, without the aid of tools, utilizing Insight's patented Slide-Lock interface. Simply slide the unit onto the firearm's rail and lock into place with the spring-loaded latch bar. Insight's Slide-Lock interface is designed to fit most pistols. The M6 features a 4 position selector switch in conjunction with an ambidextrous rocker switch located on the removable backplate. The selector switch turns to Lock-Out, Laser Only, White Light Only or White Light and Laser combined. Once the desired output is selected the M6 is activated by using the rocker arm, toggling for either Momentary On or locking for Constant On.

the bulb goes bad quickly, and I have not yet replaced it, but otherwise I am happy with product

Regarding the laser adjustment, a little goes a LOOOOOOOOONG way. It would be nicer if the increments of adjustment were smaller, but the laser does stay centered where you leave it which is nice. Once you adjust it, there wont be a need to readjust unless you change your loads. Light beam adjustment seems sloppy and the bulb isnt as bright as I would like, but it does perform as advertised and seems durable enough. Its a good unit for its price and does everything its advertised as being able to do..... a good buy all around.
