The Rhino is the most innovative development in revolver technology in decades. It fires from the bottom of the cylinder rather than the top which dramatically reduces muzzle rise and recoil felt by lowering the axis of the bore almost to the palm of the shooters hand. An aluminum alloy frame and barrel shroud makes the Rhino lightweight and easy to carry. The snag resistant "hammer" is actually a cocking device because of the Rhino's innovative completely enclosed firing mechanism which can be fired either single or double action. A cocked indicator is clearly visible to indicate the internal hammer status. Another innovation is the hexagonal cylinder which keeps the revolver's width to a minimum. Included is a fiber optic front sight.

This is a beautiful revolver that is an absolute blast to shoot. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Does what it was advertised to do. Despite the usual energy you feel from a .357 Magnum the recoil comes straight back and for all I can tell eliminates the usual muzzle flip. The recoil is still considerable, as with any .357 mag, and you do want to take advantage of the grove in the receiver for your left thumb. My thumb wandered away from the grove only one time. Other than that it operated like any well made reliable revolver.

I received the Chiappa 60DS and immediately went to the range to try it out. I found it to be a week balanced weapon and very comfortable to hold. When cocked, the trigger pull is light, otherwise it is fairly heavy to pull. Accuracy is good. My first shot was dead center on the target (that was luck). Although not every other shot was like that, it still allowed me to group nicely and the bull. I shot both 357 mag and 38 specials. The only difference was the amount of recoil. The barrel kick up was as advertised. It was minimal. One thing I would advise is to read the section about holding the pistol if you normally shoot semi-autos. It is different and after having my thumb jammed several times (I'm not a quick learner), I finally remembered to hold it as described in the instructions. Great gun and had several people want to look at it. It is unusual in appearance.

Excellent Range and small game pistol. It's so ugly it beautiful. Put a red dot or a small scope on it and you have a helluva hog killer. Warm 357 loads shoot like 38 loads. Almost no muzzle flip in this ingenious design. I CCW the 200DS and fully trust it to save my life If I ever need it. Thanks to Buds for making this available as it's a hard model to find in just about any gunstore.
