Well, i bought this despite reading all the hate online about I.O. Glad i did. I now own 3 I.O. inc rifles all of which have worked flawlessly. The ONLY complaint i have so far for ANY of them is that on this rifle, the handguard has some wiggle to it. Thats it. It would seem to me that 90% of the idiots online in forums hating on I.O. inc are either AR fanboys who have never owned one, or people whose only experience with them was back when they were importing. They now make their own rifles here in the US and let me tell you, all 3 of mine, over 3000 rounds on one, still work without a hitch. Funny actually, a range i go to here in Brooksville, FL....the Phoenix gun club.....guy next to me had an AR15 with HUGE scope on it. We were both shooting at a silhouette target at only 100 yards. I almost matched him shot for shot with just iron sights with this rifle. out of 20 shots i hit 16 he got 18, He was almost insulted that my cheap little AK nearly matched him and his $1500 AR with ridiculous scope on it. Love this rifle! I also own a I.O. inc Hellhound and the polished AK.....all 3 are perfect. I personally will keep buying all my AK's from I.O.

Gun looks great and functions flawlessly. Exactly what I would expect from a weapon made in the USA. If I had to nitpick, the grip on this thing is kind of ugly. But I just replaced it with a black hogue grip for cheap. Regardless, its an outstanding AK and after 300 rounds I havent had a single problem.

The first thing I noticed opening the box is that the cardboard inside the box was crushed. Looking at the gun closely I found several scratches and dents in the wood caused by the magazines rattling around. The next thing I noticed was that the pistol grip was beige. It was black in the Bud's picture. It doesn't look like it belongs with this gun. It doesn't tie in with the black metal or the wood furniture. The biggest thing is a machining error. I noticed is that the cap that screws onto the muzzle to protect the threads was off center by about 30 degrees. It had been drilled incorrectly so that the spring loaded locator forces it into a misaligned position. This doesn't give me much confidence in the rest of the machining. Incase you thought there was there is no adjustment for windage on the rear sight.

The gun works flawlessly, but with minor issues. First the recoil spring was gritty, but after deep cleaning and adding fresh oil it was all good. The other thing was that the lower hand guard had a little wobble, but that was an easy fix. Other than a couple small issues it's a great gun. Fired over 200 rounds and not even one hiccup, plus accuracy is good too. Overall it's a good buy, but I would recommend doing a good fieldstri, clean, and oiling before you take it out shooting. When you have an AK47, you will have reliability!!

Amazing gun. Its made in USA. More than accurate out of the box. Wood stock set is better than any Romanian cheap AKs out there. Never used a rear leaf sight before but with this Ak, I can score a Quarter size group in 25 Yards with Surplus TULAMMO! Make sure that you clean the greases it comes up with before you shoot it. BUDS service is always great.

I picked up mine yesterday. Took only three days to get. Perfect condition, much better stock than WASR, and I put 1000 rounds through it already with no FTF using Wolf Military Classic, Federal, and Hornady. I guess that's why AK-47's are so useful. This is no sniper rifle- accuracy has always been poor with these models. "Spray and Pray." But it fires nicely and I was able to get 2 inch MOA at 50 yards and 3.5 Inch at 100 yards with mechanical sights. Wood in great condition by Inter Ordinance, milled receiver is nice but does get hot. Service very good from Bud's and delivered as promised to my FFL with no hassles. Does not come with Bayonet but that is not Bud's fault. Got one from Amazon.com that fits perfectly. Great product, great price, and great service. The local gun dealer is selling WASR's for 835 bucks! Crazy so Buds prices are much better. You will like this shooter very much.

I picked up IO AK47 today and am very pleased. The wood stock and forearm are not beautiful but can be cleaned up with ease. The disassembly and reassembly for cleaning are quick and easy taking just a matter of minutes. The gun shoots very nice and is extremely accurate. For the price I couldn't be happier. A great rifle.

Received this gun looking like it was beat up on the butte and handle. The finish on the wood is very thick and has to be sanded off along with all of the dings in the wood. The top cover to the gun didnt snap onto the gun very well. Had to put the gun in a vise just to put enough pressure to get the cover on. The magazine is extremely hard to get in. Im sure it fires fine, but more interested in getting rid of it. The price shows quality. Otherwise Buds gun shop has amazing service. I just have a problem with quality of this gun. Since I own a .50 desert eagle, I guess I got spoiled with an amazing pistol downgraged to a poor quality rifle.
