An excellent, reliable rifle to use all time, but specifically during "primitive weapons" season - definitely not primitive in my view. The whole experience at Bud's was excellent!

Simple weapon, better trigger than should be expected on this firearm. Shoots as well as my Rem 700. I bought it to knock around with and to save my 700 classic from wear and tear, but find that it serves just as well and much lighter. With handloads at near 358 Win levels I get sub MOA groups and very manageable recoil. Shame they are currently out of production.
