I bought 6 boxes of these to carry in my 32s, two Kel-Tecs and one Walther.

I've been saving newspapers and phonebooks for the past 4 months and finall got enough to make a wetpack and fire some rounds into.

I fired the silvertips first, absolutely ZERO expansion of the petals. I then fired some Federal Hydra-Shoks. Very minimal expansion, petals peeled back maybe a 1/16th of an inch.

I didn't shoot any Cor-Bons or Gold Dots but I've heard they do expand. If you want a bullet that's cheaper and performs like a silvertip, buy a box of full metal jackets and save yourself about 15 to 20 bucks.

In the future I'll make some ballistic gelatin blocks and try both the silvertips & hydra-shoks in it. If there is any difference, I'll post it.

Save yourself some $$$ and by FMJs to shoot, same results, cheaper!!!
