738 TCP is not only the lightest semi-auto in the Taurus line. It is lighter than any of Taurus's small frame revolvers. The 738 TCP offers 6+1 shots of .380 ACP, a durable polymer frame and low-profile fixed sights. This gun comes with Carbon Fiber Finish which makes it a Sports South Exclusive.

I just purchased this firearm from Buds and I already own a Ruger LCP. This pocket pistol has made me even more of a believer of Taurus firearms (I own several including their 1911). Right off I put 20 rounds of Federal Hydra Shok ammo, and then 25 rounds of Hornady Critical Defense ammo without 1 FTF, FTE, or any other malfunction. I even tried "rapid" fire, surely expecting the firearm to jam or something, and it didnt! I cant say that about my Ruger, which was picky about JHP's until I ran about 150 rounds through it. Next I put 100 rounds Blazer FMJ ammo through it with the same wonderful results. The TCP is actually more comfortable and easy to shoot (in my opinion) than the LCP, and I own both. I just feel like the Taurus has more for me to hold on two, "girth" if you will. I know 25 rounds of Hornady JHP's and 20 Of Federal JHP's is a far cry from "thorough" testing, but considering the price of the ammo; one box of each through the firearm has me sold on the fuctionability of this particular gun and the ammo I tested with it.

THANKS BUD'S !!!
