The look and feel of this handguard are great over the factory plastic handguard that came with my rifle. It fit right in on my Smith & Wesson M&P 15 Sport II. Obviously this handguard will also provide mount points via the rails. However I installed a Magpul AFG2 picatinny foregrip and it has some forward and back play/slop on the rail that makes a clicking noise if I shift my grip, I am not sure if the rail from this handguard is the problem or the foregrip is the problem though.

It took 2 minutes to replace the plastic handguard on my Smith and Wesson M&P Sport II and it fits perfect and looks amazing! I highly recommend getting this.

Not precise fit. A millimeter to the right on S&W M&P SPort 2. Yes, I have MI rail before. Same rail, fit precisely on Rock River AR-15.

These rails are AWESOME. I actually ordered them at the same time I ordered my AR, and got them both on the same day coincidentally. Anyways, I pressed back on the delta ring, removed the old hand guards, and dropped these it. All in all, it only took me 30 seconds to install. Absolutely great. The only drawback I can think of is the finish doesn't feel as tough as some other rails I've encountered. There's nothing that would necessarily lead me to suspect that, there's no scratched or anything on it. It just feels a little thin to me. Either way, they were the best price, the easiest to install, and they work fine with my gas piston system. I recommend it to anybody looking for some good rails!
