I very seldom do product reviews. I am also very hard to impress when it comes to firearms or hunting gear. Having said that upfront. I am impressed with this shotgun! Huge bang for the buck factor.

My first ever semi-automatic shotgun purchase ever. Did not have time to take it to the range to practice to see how it functions. Saved that for the first day of dove season. After shooting about 125 rounds, I was very pleased with this gun. I wanted a quality semi-automatic but I didn't want to pay over $1000 for it. I feel Bud's has always been accurate in displaying their guns and giving reviews. I had a few little hiccups, maybe from me just being new to a semi-auto matic. Sometimes, when loading from the bottom, the clip holding the one in the tube didn't do its' job and I had to take a knife blade and push it back up til it clicked. Not a big deal, and I feel it may have been something I was doing---curious to read other reviews. I was using Federal Steel shot #7 in 2 3/4 because the WMA required it to be steel. Only had 3 duds. But, when I switched to a Remington 3 inch #4 shot, I had a couple failure to eject. I also had one dud. This may have been an ammo problem and not the gun. Overall, I really like the gun. It's got a real nice Mossy Oak "break up" pattern and the Hi-vis sight is nice. The gun was not heavy. I packed it around for 8 hours and I wasnt tired of carrying it. Felt good. Recoil was not horrible, but may need to upgrade the recoil pad. I was sore by the end of the day, but I did shoot about 125 rounds and I haven't shot a shotgun in a while. Again, not sure I would blame that on the gun. After a full day of shooting, I need to clean it real good and then take it out again and see if I have some of the same concerns. If I do, I will send it back, but right now, I will say it's operator error as I am a novice to semi-auto shotguns. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this gun from Bud's. It a quality piece and I feel once I get used to it, it will be even better. Can't wait to get out in the field again. I had a blast shooting this gun all day. Felt great to be outdoor hunting again, as it's something I haven't done in a long time. Thanks Bud's and thanks to Girsan for making a very nice gun be available in such a good price range and have such quality.
