Sellier & Bellot ammunition with the PTS (Plastic Tip Special) bullet is the result of efforts of hunting cartridge designers to develop a bullet with high wounding effects preserving concurrently excellent ballistic values. The bullet with lead core is covered with strengthening casing and furnished with polymer tip. Optimum shape enables the bullet to achieve higher speed and trajectory stability. These characteristics ensure excellent accuracy and wounding capability of the bullet that remains compact even at the moment of the strike, it does not shatter and it does not impair game. Together with Sierra and Barnes bullets, PTS bullets extend the range of rifle cartridges used for hunting and they extend possibilities of optimum choice for various kinds of use.

i purchased these because this is supposed to be one of the best on the market i have yet to use them but i am sure it will be a good time because i had bought a 6.8 spc quite a while ago and had a very good time

Best 6.8 ammo on the market in my opinion. Very accurate in gun and velocities higher than most other factory ammo. This round has put down several deer right in their tracks.

This is hot ammo for 6.8 which is great since all the SPC II barrels can handle it but very few manufacturers seem to want to make decently powered rounds. Chronos at about 2510fps from a 12.5" nitride barrel at 74 degrees F. Fine accuracy for me, right about 1 MOA. I also like the fact that the S&B FMJ load is the same velocity (if not a tick faster) so you can do your sighting and practicing with cheaper ammo. I have yet to use this on deer but field reports are excellent.
