What can I say? Excellent plinker for staying frosty. :)

I LOVE Mosin-Nagant rifles! I have so many of them (including the carbine M44) that I lose track of how many I have. They're mounted on walls, and in laying on workbenches half-way taken apart for initial cleaning, and in safes, etc. You can't beat the history behind the gun, or the power of shooting a FMJ round straight through a woodpile of logs (make sure you have an adequate backstop for these!), or the asthetic beauty---nicks and scratches included!

The Moisin I purchased was lovely. Like new, laminated stock without flaws, excellent wartime receiver. In all a great transaction.

Great rifle. Was much cleaner than I expected.

After a lot of cleaning, the gun looks Great!! I have only shot 500 rounds through in the last 18 months. After figuring out what the front sight picture should look like, have determined that the front sight is off. Working on adjusting it properly. The guns is very reliable and built like a tank. Once I get the sighting completed will be a good shooter. Ammo is relatively cheap and semi-easy to find. I have put a recoil pad on, and that helps. The rifle kicks like a mule. I'd hate to be on the receiving end. For the money, cool way to own a piece of world history.

Great gun for the money. No complaints. A great addition to your gun collection, can be used for hunting, can add scope or use iron sights. When I got it maintenance was required to clean it. Disassemble and clean it, oil, looks good, fires great. Good videos on YouTube that take you through it step by step. On a scale of 1 to 10 cleaning and reassembly was about a 3. Not as easy as a handgun but not that bad either.

I received my Laminated mosin several days ago from Buds. I was pretty pleased with gun. To me it looks to be in excellent shape from what I can see. IIam not sure why it was marked very good. I am a mosin collector so I have tons of these guns but I must say this laminated one may just be my favorite as far as looks go. It came with all the acessories including two of the pouches, oil can, tools, etc. That is one thing I like about buds. They give you the accessories. They don't take them and sell them separately like some other gun dealers do. Thanks Buds for another great purchase!

Received the rifle in great shape and as advertised. Cleaned it and the sling, ammo pouches, and bayonet. After cleaning it I made a few initial target shots with it and found it was remarkably accurate right out of the box without any adjustment and/or modifications. I bought it for the history, but it could could be useful for hunting. I bought some ammo somewhere else, which had numerous dud rounds. For the money it was a great buy. Buds Gun shop is awesome.

quick shipping like always definitely will come back for my ak47, the mosin is a good rifle to add to my Russian collection minus the cosmoline hint use warmed clear mineral sprits and let sit for a hour and then wash and dry
