Why does the box cite 3120 fps and the write up cites 3165fps?

Hi Robert, even the PMC website contradicts itself. The box says 3120 fps, but the specs say 3270 fps. I suspect the 3120 may be out of a 16" barrel, as the 3270 states 20" barrel. Stay safe & have a great day!

what i have used has been good ammo I have not noticed any smoke or carbon buildup

Hi David and welcome. I have shot a few thousand rounds of this and the 62gr green tips and they are actually cleaner burning than the Federal 5.56 equivalent loads. You will have no issues with excessive carbon build up any more so than the Federal or Winchester. Cheers and happy holidays!
