The Trijicon RMR adapter is good for that situation where you need the versatility of a magnified optic paired with a red dot sight in close quarters.This offset rail adapter attaches to the firearm's picatinny rail and provides a short picatinny rail at a 45 degree offset to mount a red dot sight. By mounting a red dot at a 45 degree offset, it allows for an easy transition from the magnified optic by simply rotating the firearm. The low profile of this mount allows you to mount underneath almost any riflescope without removing the scope or rings, or in front/behind the optic. The RMR attaches to standard 1913 picatinny rails, is made of lightweight anodized aluminum, and is ambidextrous for right or left handed shooters. Also includes one offset rail adapter with key.
Note:
This is just the rail adapter. In order to mount the Trijicon RMR you will also need the RM33 RMR Mount.

I wanted to get a secure 45 degree mount for my Sig Romeo sight and purchased one with only one fastening screw. After a half dozen shots with my CMMG 350 Legend, the mount came loose. Bud's has been an excellent source for solving my "problems" in the past and sure thing, that's were I found the Trijcon RMR 45 degree mount. It has two fastening screws (more like small diameter bolts) and slipped right under my scope and really secured my red dot sight. Took the Legend back out to the range, shot over 50 rounds, including my reloads and no movement, solid as a rock. If you are looking for a solid 45 degree mount for your AR or any "rail" mount, this is the product for you. By the way, there are cheaper mounts out there. I know as I bought one and wasted my money. This mount isn't cheap but it WORKS. Enough said.
