I just sold my MRO because I was unaware that there is a "gen 2" model that begins after serial #89k how can I be sure what I am getting?

Rusty - found this on a 'net gun forum site: "Apparently the new MROs no longer have the slight magnification of the earlier versions. From their website "The Trijicon MRO Manufactured before Serial number 89,000 did have a very slight magnification of 1.05x which is within the range of competitive reflex-style sight. Responding to customer feedback Trijicon adjusted the magnification in MROs with a serial number of 89,000 or higher to have a magnification of 1.00x or no magnification." Seems the changes between the two are very slight, and probably not enough to worry about.

I haven't heard about that, but I admit I am not a "Trijicon" expert for sure. I can only suggest you contact the company directly and ask for the UPC of the newest model. They should provide it, and you can then compare with the listing here. Their number is 1-800-338-0563, 8 AM - 5 PM, Mon - Fri (and I believe that would be central time zone)
