The Phase 5 Extended Bolt Release V3 was built on the legacy of the patented monolithic EBRv2 and EBRv2-SC levers, with several design upgrades. It was designed to be compatible with all mil spec AR-15/M16 receiver sets as well as many billet, side charging, and even left-handed weapons. The EBRv3 gives the operator the ability to reload quicker, clear jams more efficiently, and eliminates unnecessary hand movements during some operations by extending the lever into the trigger well for access on the right side of the weapon.

Bought because I liked the idea that it was all one piece. As soon as I installed the trigger I noticed my finger barely fits between the extension and trigger. I have a magpul b.a.d lever on another rifle to compare. I noticed the magpul has a slight bend to kick the extension forward (away from trigger) before it turns in front of the trigger.
Love the look and its very sturdy but if you have big hands or fat fingers I would shy away from this product.

This BAD lever fit my AR-15 perfectly and it was easy to install in just a few minutes.
Being skeletonized I can easily access the walkout pins for my drop-in trigger located under it if needed.
It is sturdy and I love that Phase5 is a USA based business and that this product was Made in the USA.

I purchased this to install on a rifle I'm building for my wife. Previously I've used Magpul's B.A.D and the Strike Industries Ambidextrous bolt release adaptations with varying success on other builds. While I like the idea of this type of device, I have been of mixed mind with both the other products. I found them to be a bit disappointing in the manner of how they're attached to the standard bolt release...they have a tendency to "wobble" and come loose. Thus when I discovered the Phase 5 device I was taken by it's approach, in one piece, to replace the standard release and mount precisely to the lower receiver. I've fired 225 rounds thru this build as a break in and have very much liked the Phase 5 device. It's reliable, functions as expected, and hasn't worked its way loose. It does have some play which is dictated by the inherent design of the bolt release attachment, but nothing significant. I will replace the other devices with the Phase 5 over time as I think it a better and sturdier option. My only criticism, and it's minor, is that the finish has a very slightly "semi-gloss" sheen to it which I'd rather it not. However, that may diminish with use and is, as I wrote, a very minor issue,
