This gun is everything I expected! Went to the range to test it out, it didn't skip a beat. I even had a new shooter shoot it to see if it would still run with no problem, None! For a new gun it felt as if it was already broke in. Kimber did an outstanding job on this one!

This hand gun is a beautiful piece and a great carry gun.

Upon receiving new in the box, field stripped, cleaned, & lubed. Took to the range and went through 300 rounds at a moderate pace. Not one FTE or FTF - performed flawless. This is my 2nd Micro CDP with my first one bought over a couple of years ago. My first one still performs flawlessly to this day as well. This last one I bought (serial number indicating over 30,000 more made since my first one) has a stronger recoil spring that I like, and Kimber made a small design change to the safety (added a small track guide on one side that I really don't think was needed). While I use a Kimber Ultra CDP II .45 acp for my C&C, these .380's are fun to shoot.

Bud's did a great job for purchase and delivery of the Kimber Micro CDP. I bought it as a birthday present for myself in March. I quickly went to the range after delivery by my local FFL. To my disappointment, the little Kimber was terrible. Failure to feed, failure to eject and other issues out of the box. I sent it back to Kimber and they did a pretty substantial overhaul for a brand new pistol. I still have limited confidence in it as a carry weapon and hope with more usage it will be okay.

Small, light weight, accurate & dependable. Highly recommend!

I picked up my CDP Micro Carry today and after stripping and cleaning it took it out and fired 50 rounds through it. Loaded, fired and ejected every time I pulled the trigger. I used a mix of ammo brands and mostly hollow points with some round nose mixed in. I fired slow and rapid fired emptying the mag with equally good results. Fit and finish is very good, typical Kimber. I have been searching for extra Kimber mags and have been unable to find any so far. But I have four Colt Mustang mags and they worked perfectly in the Kimber. I have had several 238's and Mustangs and they have all worked great. I bought the Kimber partly for the ambi safety being left handed and it was about the same price I paid for a 238 SAS with ambi safety. The grip on the Mustang and Kimber are the most comfortable with the CDP allowing the best grip with the front strap checkering and checkered main spring housing. The trigger is heavy at 8.5-9 pounds measured on a digital trigger pull scale, not the advertised 7#, but breaks clean and may lighten a little with use or it may go to the gunsmith. I have a lot of Kimbers and have seldom been disapointed with any of them and am happy with the Micro Carry. I like it a lot.
