Browning X-Bolt Leupold Combo 300 Win Mag Bolt Action Rifle - 26" Barrel, 3 Rounds, Synthetic

This is my first Browning rifle but my initial impression is a solid rifle. I picked this rifle up because it came with a scope and the 26” barrel. I was looking at several models before I chose the Xbolt as I have heard good things from multiple people. Can’t wait to shoot it but I will have to wait a little bit. It is a little lighter than what I was thinking it would be so the recoil of 300WM may be a little harsher than I was expecting but that’s a price to pay sometimes. Overall quality is top notch and would recommend from what I’ve seen so far.

Browning X-bolt/Leupold Scope PKG bore sighted with nice hard case..$700 after rebate.....good as its gets!!! Purchasing and shipping...no problems/excellent. I gave this purchase a 4 star for only 1 reason.....The description Buds has for the stock is dark grey in their specifications which needs correction.The stock picture is a dark grey which matches the picture on Browning's website.(noted in Bud's picture)..The synthetic stock color actually is a lighter grey/grey not dark grey which is not too bad but probably would have been the deal breaker if seen in person. Other than the color issue this was a good purchase.

I haven’t had a chance to take my Xbolt to the range and sight it in yet, but as far as the overall look and feel of this setup. The finish on the bolt wasn’t as nice as one would expect from browning. The leupold scope appears to be nice and clear but I’m going to upgrade it to a scope with a little bit more magnification. This was honestly a bad purchase for me personally, but I guess I’ll make the modifications that it needs and live with it.
